The purpose of this post is to explain WHY we exist, WHO we are, HOW we do what we do, and WHAT we do in detail.

What is VA Claims Insider?

VA Claims Insider is an education-based Coaching/Consulting company for disabled veterans exploring eligibility for increased VA disability benefits and who wish to learn more about that process.

VA Claims Insider also connects veterans in our membership programs with independent medical professionals in our referral network for medical examinations, disability evaluations, and credible Medical Nexus Letters for a wide range of disability conditions.

VA Claims Insider serves veterans *LIVE* and in-community, in a “Done With You” Mastermind concept with fellow disabled veterans from around the world.

Our movement consists of 5 brands and a team of 200+ professionals.

Is VA Claims Insider Legit? VA Claims Insider Core Values
VA Claims Insider has 5 Core Values

#1 Empathy: Empathy is at the heart of who we are. It is the key to providing Elite-level customer service. We will listen, respect, relate, and seek understanding with each other and the veterans we serve.

#2 Learning: Learning is both a mindset and a philosophy. We must always grow and adapt, learn and apply knowledge, be resourceful, do and be more, and constantly challenge the status quo. Nobody knows it all and there is no such thing as “good enough.”

#3 Integrity: Integrity means doing the right thing, all the time, even if nobody’s looking. We will make mistakes, but we will never sacrifice our integrity. Without integrity, the rest of our core values don’t matter.

#4 Teamwork: If we want to go far, we must go together. We will build-up, support, and be accountable to each other in all things. We will collaborate as a team, and the best ideas will win. The team is more important than our individual wants and needs.

#5 Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm is the driving force behind our culture. It is the energy and passion that fuels everything we do. It is a contagious positive attitude. It is what makes our craft fun and exciting.

Is VA Claims Insider Accredited by the VA?

VA Claims Insider, LLC is NOT an accredited VSO, claims agent, attorney, or entity recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and is not affiliated with the VA in any way.

VA Claims Insider, LLC does NOT assist veterans with the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of VA disability claims for VA benefits.

Veterans shall prepare and file their own claim and represent themselves “self-representation” aka “pro se” representation or work with an accredited VSO, which offer services for FREE.

Veterans may search for and appoint an accredited VSO by clicking HERE.

Veterans may also search and find Accredited Attorneys, Claims Agents, or VSO Representatives by clicking HERE.

By using our website or VA Claims Insider, LLC’s Mastery, Elite, or Live membership programs, you acknowledge that there are completely FREE services available to assist veterans in the filing of VA disability claims for VA disability benefits.

Veterans always have the option to utilize the free services provided by entities such as National Service Organizations (e.g., DAV, VFW, AMVETS, American Legion, Purple Heart, among many others), Service Organizations, State Sponsored Veteran Service Officers, and/or the paid services of VA accredited agents or accredited VA attorneys.

Utilization of VA Claims Insider, LLC’s website or services is NOT required to submit a claim for VA disability benefits, and you may achieve a positive VA disability claim outcome with these other free or paid organizations, or even on your own.

Why Doesn’t VA Claims Insider Seek VA Accreditation?

We are a team of entrepreneurs, innovators, medical doctors, psychologists, and physicians’ assistants.

Our primary focus is on the medical evidence requirements needed to help veterans win previously denied VA disability benefits for which they are eligible by law and to uncover high-value secondary VA disabilities based upon medical evidence of record.

Because we do NOT perform the job functions of a VSO, claims agent, attorney, or any other entity who represents veterans (with power of attorney) before the VA for disability benefits, there is no need to seek VA accreditation.

Doing so would be like a doctor pursuing a law degree or a plumber deciding to get HVAC certified—it doesn’t make sense, it’s a round peg in a square hole.

We proudly support many non-profit organizations at both the state and national level because we need our VSOs to represent veterans and help them through the VA claim process in their pursuit of VA disability benefits.

How much does VA Claims Insider Elite cost?

We do NOT ever charge fees related to VA disability claim preparation, presentation, and prosecution, nor do we participate in these types of activities for veterans.

The fees we charge are for “Access and Permission to Use” to the VA Claims Insider Elite membership program proprietary resources, which include deeply discounted medical consultant services from our network of vetted independent medical providers as well as our proprietary VA claim resources offered inside the Elite Experience Portal (EEP).

Instead of charging veterans thousands of dollars to access our proprietary resources up-front, which we value at a minimum of $13,119 inside the Elite program, we decided to make these resources FREELY available to those who join our membership programs, and you only pay AFTER you win your VA disability claim AND get a higher VA rating. If you don’t win and get a higher rating, you don’t owe us a penny.

Here’s a sampling of the VA Claims Insider proprietary resources offered to veterans inside our Elite membership program:

  • The Elite Experience Portal (EEP) ($4,997 value)
  • Buddy Letter Generator Tool ($564 value)
  • VA Claims Insider Mastermind Group on Facebook ($564 value)
  • High-value VA claim video trainings, templates, tutorials, and real Statement in Support of a Claim examples ($997 value)
  • Access to our referral network of independent medical providers for disability evaluations & Medical Nexus Letters ($997 value)
  • Access to explainer Masterclass $5,000 per year in direct award academic scholarships for your dependents ($5,000 value)

How much do other medical professionals charge veterans?

We are aware of other medical professionals who provide medical examinations, disability evaluations, and medical nexus opinions and charge $10,000 or more up-front for these services, with NO GUARANTEE that the medical evidence will help a disabled veteran in their pursuit of VA disability benefits.

Some companies charge $1,000 per disability examination, $1,500 for a Psych Eval + Independent Medical Opinion, and $1,500 per separte Medical Nexus Letter for other conditions…no thanks.

We think this is too expensive and so we decided to structure a better deal for disabled veterans, regardless of their current financial situation.

We don’t ever want a financial constraint to be the reason why a disabled veteran can’t join our membership programs.

If you’d rather consider other doctors (private medical providers) for medical evaluations and Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs), you can check-out this list of “Top 5 Doctors That Write Letters for Veterans.”

How much does VA Claims Insider cost?

VA Claims Insider does NOT charge veterans any up-front fees for access to the VA Claims Insider Elite membership program.

But first, let’s go back to our discussion about the VA Claims Insider Elite membership program and what it means to be a “member.”

I’ll use Costco as an example because many veterans understand it and can relate.

I’m a Costco member myself, and as a member, I get discounted access on products/services both in-store and online.

VA Claims Insider Elite is structured in a similar way, except we don’t charge a penny up-front to become a member.

Our VA Claims Insider Elite members get “members only” prices and discounts on the medical professionals in our vetted referral network because of the volume we do, which are listed below for comparison:

VA Claims Insider Elite Membership Savings Chart and Cost Comparison

The independent medical professionals in our referral network do NOT work for VA Claims Insider and are not influenced by our company in any way.

We’ve structured it this way to avoid any actual or perceived conflict of interest for veterans.

They are 100% independent and objective in their medical examinations and medical evidence provided to veterans.

If any medical examination requires an in-person evaluation, such as a Range of Motion (ROM) test or a medical diagnosis of a disability/condition from a Medical Doctor (MD), the independent medical providers in our vetted referral network reserve the right to charge an additional fee.

*****Please note: NONE of these medical coaching/consulting services are required, and you as the veteran may obtain medical examinations, disability evaluations, and Medical Nexus Opinions from your own medical providers using our templates, possibly even for FREE.

If you do receive an increase in your monthly VA disability benefits, our VA Claims Insider Membership Agreement stipulates our standard fee of 6x the monthly increase, payable one time, either lump sum at a 10% discount or over 12 months at no interest.

For example, if the veterans rating before utilizing our services is 50% at $1,000 per month, and the veterans rating after utilizing our services is 90% at $2,000 per month, the veteran would owe VA Claims Insider 6x the monthly increase, or $2,000-$1,000 = $1,000 x 6 = $6,000.

In this example, if the lump sum option is selected, the total owed would be $6,000-$600 (10% discount) = $5,400.

In this example, if the monthly payment plan is selected, the total owed would be $6,000/12 months = $500 per month at no interest.

Regardless of a veteran’s final rating increase, under no circumstances will the total amount owed to VACI ever exceed $15,000.

We self-imposed a max cap of $15,000 to help fellow disabled veterans as much as possible, and to ensure we’re charging a reasonable fee.

Is VA Claims Insider a Scam?

VA Claims Insider is 100% legit and definitely NOT a scam.

We realize and acknowledge that disabled veterans (especially elderly disabled veterans) have been and will continue to be targeted by dishonest individuals attempting to profit (scamming veterans) without providing any exchange of value.

Is VA Claims Insider Legit? Scams Targeting Veterans
Beware of Scams Targeting Disabled Veterans!

A scam is defined online as: “A dishonest or fraudulent scheme that attempts to take money or something of value from people. A scammer may, for example, present somebody with false information during an offer or deal. What appears to be a quick-profit scheme is, in fact, a trick. The victim of the scam, if the scammer is successful, loses his or her money. Scammers cheat their victims or marks out of their money.”

If disabled veterans believe they are a victim of a scam, fraudulent activity, or misrepresentation for VA disability benefits or VA pension benefits (e.g., “Pension Poachers”), we recommend reporting bad actors to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the VA’s Office of General Counsel:

  1. Submit a Consumer Complaint to the FTC
  2. Report the scam to Local and State authorities
